Redcurrant is a registered housing co-operative with 5 members and we are looking for a place to call our home! All members are currently based in Edinburgh and we’re expecting to have found a place by the end of summer 2019. We are a co-op consisting of activists, students, workers and queers. We became members of Radical Routes in Summer 2018 and are actively taking part in building the co-operative movement in Edinburgh.

There’s still plenty to do for us; seeking loanstock, securing a mortgage and finding a property to move in to. But of course, that’s only the beginning: we’re looking for people to join us on our journey who will be actively involved in the co-op’s work and decision making.
